Song is about a guy who doesn’t have the best of luck. People don’t consider him anything, but a burden, hopeless, and a nobody. Although he feels like no one cares, he’s appreciative of his life in hopes that it’ll get better one day.
He tries to live his life different, in hopes that his dreams and aspirations will one day come true, although everything just seems to be against him. Even when it rains on his parade, he’s just thankful that he has another day to live. Another day to make something of it.
Every new day to him is the best day ever, because it’s one more day to try and become something different.
